Betty's Story: Endoscopic Sinus Surgery

I had been dealing with sinus issues for several years before seeing Dr. Robertson. I probably experienced five or six years of ongoing colds—seemed like I could never get rid of them. After seeing him, he was able to let me know that I had a sinus issue rather than a common cold issue. So I would experience issues such as sore throat, and some coughing. It was not unusual to have pressure in the nasal area. Sometimes, I would have a buildup of fluid, which would ultimately lead to earaches and irritations like that. It impacted my daily life to the point where it was making me feel sick all the time and I was always thinking that I needed to take cold medications. And I found myself always going to my primary care doctor, always wanting to take antibiotics.

My sinus surgery was about three years ago, and it was the best thing that I could have ever done. When you’re looking at having a procedure done, it is very important that you have the right professional that’s spearheading it. And that was the best decision I’d ever made, was one, to have the procedure, and then having selected Dr. Robertson as the physician to oversee that. Even today, three years later, I’m not having any problems, and it’s all because I was able to get the right person, be given the right instructions, and be held accountable because he would follow up to make sure that I was properly caring for myself.

My results since my sinus surgery have just been phenomenal. I’m very happy with the fact that I did make the decision to have the surgery. I would definitely consider seeing Dr. Robertson. At least have a consultation with him, and let him properly evaluate you because the results that I’m experiencing are just—you can’t put a price tag on it.
